Hello Dreamers, please excuse the strange expression on my face.. pretty dorky huh? FYI, the dress I'm wearing in my photo is from TOPSHOP, for those that have been asking. Anyways, hope everyone is having a great week so far? Unfortunately I haven't got that Friday feeling as I am working over the weekend, boohoo. I had 2-days off this week, went to see Super 8 with my BF and totally loved it.. if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it. It's been raining all week, so haven't had the chance to do much. I am on the hunt to get a dress for my cousins wedding, its proven to be one hell of a challenge to get a dress to fit such a petite person. If anyone knows of any good clothing stores for dresses, please let me know.. I'm clueless! I'm counting down the days until I fly off to LA.. I cannot wait for this holiday, its been such a stressful couple of months. Hopefully in the next month or so, things will be looking up and finally things will be in place... I may have some news to update you guys with, watch this space. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, come rain or shine!

Friday/Saturday Portrait {+1} | Week #6
I've never really blogged this late before, but seeing as I'm trying to keep up my Friday Portrait post, I might as well keep it going. I cheated a little this week by having a photo taken with someone else, someone else being my cousin. I just couldn't get around to taking a self portrait.. I've been super busy this week with everything at work and socially. The title also includes 'Saturday' simply because its 1:00am as I'm writing this post, so it is technically speaking, Saturday morning. I really shouldn't have had that Starbucks coffee frappacino today as it has really deprived me of sleep. But it is friday, so i must stay up.. even if it means having panda eyes in the morning, which I no doubt will.
Having 8am starts this week has really killed my energy, I've been out everyday after work running errands, seeing friends, spending time with my BF and all that sort of thing. I've barely had any time to myself this whole week and its affects are showing. So this weekend I am resting up and doing nothing but sleep and comfort eating (been craving for trifle this whole week - strange!). I wish weekends would last longer than 2 days.
So on that note, I will keep this post short and simple. Hope everyone has a awesome weekend.. and for all you Londoners, enjoy the sunshine because the weatherman is predict rain all next week. Typical.
Oh, also.. I finally got my camera back! :) hooray.
PS: Blogger has been playing up lately, if you see random posts posted up on your feed that hasn't been published on my blog, then I apologise. I don't know what's happening but it seems that whenever I save to draft, it publishes my post instead. Annoying!

Friday Portrait | Week #5
Good evening bloggers! This is a bit of a late evening/posts for you all. The weather this week has been beyond disappointment =( everyday - without fail - rain has poured down on every single journey I've taken to work this week. It makes me sad, makes me furious, makes me annoyed because summer is all about sun, rays and cocktails! Speaking of cocktails.. Its my sister's birthday dinner/party tomorrow, we're off to Hawksmoor for a good dose of foodage and drinkage. Writing this, I am actually craving for a ice-cold glass of Mojitos now.
I was going through my diary and work calendar this week, it has just hit me that I have just over 2-months until I fly to LA for my cousins wedding! I am so excited.. its crazy to think that I booked my tickets in February and its almost here! I've haven't taken time off from work since May, so this holiday is all I can think about. I'm so looking forward to seeing all my family, chilling at the beach, eating huge portions of american style food, indulging in bubble tea, trying the famous green tea frappicino that only the U.S have in starbucks! Tell me why UK hasn't jumped on the Green Tea Frappacino band wagon yet? Not fair. - Any of my LA followers: could you recommend me restaurants/sights etc for me to see and do? I've been to LA a couple of times, but I know there is a whole lot more that I haven't done (or eaten).
I've been getting frequent emails lately enquiring about my camera and how I produce the photos on my blog. I'm thinking maybe I should dedicate a post on this subject? I could answer all your questions there, if I haven't already answered them!

Friday Portrait | Week #4
Hellooooo! Oh. my. god... how long has it been since I last updated? oops. I do apologise for the lack of posts. As you all may well know, my camera is currently in repairs hence the lack of general posts and updates on My Week In Photos, as well as my Friday Portrait. Fear not, I am now relying on my point and shoot camera for now (photo taken with the Canon Powershot S90), which by the way is my all time favourite digital camera! Thank the lord that my SLR is still under warranty and its being fixed promptly. I highly recommend www.fixationuk.com if you have any queries or repairs on your SLR cameras.. their customer service is brilliant and efficient.
Its been a pretty busy couple of weeks so far, and I still can't believe we are already in August! I was looking through my calendar earlier and it has hit me that Christmas is only 4-months away... scary! Anyways, the busy bee that I am at the moment, I have still made the time and effect to do a lot of activities, one being a very informative and insightful event that I attended last weekend called 'Big Screen'. I actually got to see and attend my very first European film premier (blog post coming soon..), which was pretty awesome.
I'm away this weekend, spending it with my boyfriend and his family. We are off to see The Rise of The Planet of The Apes.. I am so excited to see it as word of mouth has been great, especially on twitter ! We are also off to a very stylish Thai restaurant for some well deserved delicious food and drinks. Its been a while since I've had a proper night out, so this one will definitely hit off my weekend. And to add more to my eventful weekend, I have a BBQ on saturday to attend to.. yay! This too, also involves a large *ahem* amount of alcohol intake.. go me!
I'm thinking of changing my blog layout/theme again.. what do you guys think? And I'm also thinking of creating a food blog since half of this blog is dedicated to my food/restaurant posts! yay or nay? I'll update you all when this up and running.
PS: I've hit 121 followers so far :) big smiles and huge thank you for following!

Friday Portrait | Week #3
Hey Dreamers and Dreamerettes, Hope every is having a great week so far? Well, I haven't been up to much this week, only work for me.. no rest for the wicked like they say. Its been a pretty slow week to be honest, nothing major has happened nor has there been anything to report back on here. Oh, actually.. I've been catching up on True Blood Season 4, I'm really loving it.. I just love Sookie and her cute little one-liners, and Eric is looking ever so fine! I'm planning to start watching Breaking Bad too, I think I'm like 4 seasons late? Mmmm. I've heard so many great things about it, plus it'll keep me occupied in the evening too. What do you guys think of it? Are you also a True Blood fan too?
My boyfriend has just booked tickets for The Big Screen, which is basically a film event happening for 3 consecutive days at the London's 02. It is put together by film magazine, Empire. We're both huge film fans, we both work in that sort of industry and also have degrees in that area, so it'll be definitely a great event to attend and its right up our street? Apparently, Cow Boys and Aliens are doing their premier there, as well as pixar and other industry professionals putting together seminars and work shops for the whole 3-day event. I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm taking my baby niece and cousin out tomorrow for a little day out. My niece, who has just turned one, has taken her first little steps, I'm so proud of her. I can't believe she is growing up so fast.
I'm thinking of booking a spa day soon, somewhere in London perhaps. Does anyone know any good spa hotels? Or any offers for spa days around the UK? Please let me know. Thanks!
I've taken hardly any photos for my sunday post this week :( I don't know what I'm going to posts up! Might just have to be a few bits and bobs from this week (if any) and the previous week. Either way, I'll try my best to keep the sunday 'My Week In Photos' post continuing.

Friday Portrait | Week #2
I'm going to keep this post a little shorter than usual today! I don't want to expose much on here, but today I did something that can potentially change my life. I won't know the outcome until a few weeks, but I am keeping my fingers, toes and whatever that can be crossed, crossed. I hope you all can do the same too :) Gosh I sound like such a drama queen don't I? ha ha. Other than that, this week has been pretty same old some old. I've had an on/off mild case of the flu so I'm still recovering from that. I think my body has given way and has totally shut down on me =( stress really does work in different ways. Sigh. I've also been finding some time to spend with my BF as we don't really get to see much of each other. We're still not sure where we should go on holiday in September - we have Amsterdam in mind, has anyone been?
If you haven't read my post yet, please do so here. I finally went to Heston Blumenthal's pop-up restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Monday. The food and experience was uh-mazing! I just wish I could have met the man himself.. that would have been a dream come true.
Shout Out! I've been reading some really great blogs lately, but one that has caught my attention is Abby @Dirty On The Rocks. I love her style of writing and I just adore all her photos of her gorgeous son. She is currently doing a 30 day tumblr challenge, that is really interesting and insightful to read.. head over to her site to check it out!
As I'm drawing closer to 100 followers, I've been thinking about what kind of video I should do for my special 100 followers post. Do you guys think I should do a Q&A or just a general thank you video? Let me know what you guys want and I shall see what I can do. Also, I say this all the time, but I mean it from the bottom of my iddy biddy heart.. thank you all for all your lovely and thoughtful comments on all my posts.. you guys really brighten up my day with your kind words. Big huggies!

Friday Portrait | Week #1
Happy weekend peeps! Lol, I know, I know.. thats not the best photo of me to start this post with. Its the only photo that came out decent enough to share. I some how never take good (decent) photos of myself on the SLR! Anyways, this will be a regular posts on my weekly thoughts and a general update on my life (with a self portrait for your viewing pleasure =p)! You will probably find out in due course that my life isn't all that interesting. But if you are remotely interested, please follow and comment as you wish :)
Work has been pretty calm lately, so no stress at the moment for me *touch wood*. I just had my appraisal (its been 9-months since I've been at my company!) and everything went really well. Hopefully there might be a promotion in the near future. I'm so glad I took this job on because its made me realise what I truly want to be.. its just getting there that I have to figure out. Fingers crossed things will look up from now on.
I finally went to see Transformers 3.... it was brilliant. Michael Bay really does know how to make a good action 'pop-corn' film. The CGI was epic and the Labeouf is super cute in the film!
I've reached an amazing 80 followers on this blog! I still can't believe there's that much people who actually take the time out to view my posts. You guys don't know how much that means to me... its means A LOT! So, thank you and big hugs to you all. I also mentioned on twitter that if I ever reach 100 followers, I will do a video posts :) I'm not sure what the subject will be, but if and when I do reach the target, I will do something special.
I'm working this weekend so I probably only do my My Week In Photo posts on sunday as I won't really have time to blog about anything else. I heard the weather is going to be pretty miserable in London, so working this weekend won't be so bad. I've also got a lunch date with my boyfriend on Monday at the new Heston Blumenthal's restaurant in Knightsbridge - will do a separate post on this. Go check out the website! I'm so excited.
